Yes, you will own your formulation once the project is completed.
Our R&D team is equipped to accept a maximum number of projects per annual quarter. You must book a new project consultation to check our availability for accepting new projects. If we are available to service all of your needs, your project will be accepted to begin our R&D process and turnaround time will be provided at that time.
Project acceptance is determined by client readiness and is on a first come, first served basis. We understand that our clients come to us at different stages in their product development and/or expansion so to best serve you, we are always accepting consultations.
Costs and fees
Pricing is based on the number of products you are looking to develop, the complexity of the formulation(s), and time needed for completion. Formulation complexity is determined by the raw materials (or) ingredients that will be used, the technology (or) systems used for the base, and expected time-around time.
In order to provide cost (or) pricing for R&D services, you must book a consultation for a new project.
Pricing covers Research and Development (R&D) only; Safety Testing is not included. We offer Stability and Package Compatibility testing (PCT) at an additional cost of $1500 per test for each product.
To better serve you, we partner with third party labs to facilitate any further safety testing you need at an additional cost. We charge a supplementary fee to prepare any product bulk needed for requested safety testing. Product Bulk cost is dependent on the cost of your formula(s) so pricing will be provided once R&D is complete and the formula(s) is approved. Our process offers you more freedom of choice as you transition through each phase of development.
To better serve you, we partner with third party labs to facilitate any clinical testing you have requested. All clinical testing is provided at an additional cost with either our lab partners or your chosen lab.
We charge a small fee to prepare any bulk needed for testing. Bulk cost is dependent on the cost of your formula(s) so pricing will be provided once R&D is complete and the formula(s) is approved. We operate this way so you have more freedom of choice as you transition through each phase of development.

Product Development
Minimal brand establishment like a brand website, product development pitch deck, and/or product brief is required when I bring you on as a client. This is to best assist you as well as for you to have the best R&D experience and to prevent any delays in your launch.
A summary of our on-boarding and R&D process is on our website as The Charismatic Method. On average, our R&D process takes 6-9 months for formulation completion. It is helpful to have a target cost of goods sold, Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MRSP) or list price, and product expectations in regards to cost, aesthetics, and functionality.

Yes, we provide custom packaging solutions at an additional cost. Client must meet our criteria in order to participate in this option of service. To learn more, you must book a new project consultation. Please have ideas and/or pictures to avoid unforeseen issues and/or delays in your launch.
Manufacturing
We do not provide private nor white labeling services. We offer custom formulation and R&D services as well as consulting services to help you transition your custom formulation into the manufacturing setting.
We do not and cannot provide the cost of Manufacturing at the R&D stage. Your manufacturing investment is dependent on multiple variables like order quantity, labor, final packaging, your product formulation, etc. All or most of these things are not finalized until the end of R&D and in most cases, extends past the final development of your formula. You can plan for manufacturing to be the biggest cost in this process to launch.
We do assist our clients in transitioning their final formulation from development to upscale and manufacturing. Once The Method is finalized, we will transfer the formulation to your preferred manufacturing facility or can assist you in finding a third-party manufacturer to upscale your product for larger distribution.
